I spent the early part of my career as a Talent and Development Business Partner, designing and delivering leadership programmes. I worked across various sectors, ensuring that these initiatives stayed true to strategic goals and company values. I was also UK champion for a global career acceleration programme.

I am passionate about immersive development experiences and great facilitation of groups - and bring this experience to the Transformational Leadership Programme.

Something interesting about me? I shamelessly listen to country music when marking, trying really hard not to sing along... because it upsets my cat!

My passion is for languages and education and I spent many years teaching Modern Foreign Languages at inner city secondary schools in the UK. I speak Spanish, Portuguese and French, and have lived in Spain, Chile and Brazil.

Living around the world has helped me communicate, understand and build strong relationships with all different kinds of people. I especially love connecting with our international learners and seeing how they apply our programme in different cultural contexts.

I am at my happiest when socialising, travelling, cooking, eating, dancing, doing yoga and listening to live music – although I’ve yet to attempt all of these at the same time.

I started my career as a Religious Studies and Philosophy teacher, before working for a major UK charity developing and piloting new fundraising initiatives and technologies. Innovations consulting was a natural next step, followed by setting up an L & D and content marketing agency inside The School of Life. I also ran my own content creation business, Studio Loki.

As Director of Learning, I bring together my love of innovation, creativity and big ideas, overseeing the curriculum and coaching programme at Future Talent.

In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, travelling and (rather badly) practising Jiu Jitsu.

I started my career in the commercial environment, progressing to the role of business manager. I realised I wanted to help develop others, and so moved into teaching at primary school level. As well as teaching various Key Stages, I was a SEN teacher, which presented new challenges and gave me an amazing opportunity to grow and develop.

These work experiences have really built my character. As a result I bring resilience and empathy to my role, along with a passion to help others achieve their potential, no matter their starting point.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling and eating out - and I’m always keeping an eye out for new spas to relax and unwind.

I spent my early career as a professional dancer and instructor: travelling the world, working at Pineapple Studios, and even donning the Butlin’s Redcoat. The skills I had developed in performance and teaching transferred well to the corporate world.

After a stint in operational management and leadership, I realised I wanted to support the development of others. After qualifying as an NLP Business Practitioner in Coaching, I set up a consultancy offering bespoke programmes, and ultimately moved into apprenticeships. I continue to live and breathe development, sharing insights from my breadth of experience.

Did someone say “shall we dance?” It’s still a true love of mine and I recently jived my way to runner-up in a Charity Strictly Come Dancing Competition!

I started out in Journalism, with some media teaching on the side. I soon caught the education bug and trained to teach Media and Film. As I progressed I took on more and more vocational courses and began to get a real taste for facilitation, coaching and apprenticeships. Having achieved what I wanted to in teaching, reaching the heady heights of Head of Vocational Qualifications, I relocated to North Yorkshire and began my focus in earnest on coaching and training adults.

I am thoughtful, honest and a problem solver, so love supporting my learners in finding their own solutions, and watching them succeed. Everything I do is driven by care for others – I want to hear different perspectives and what my learners really care about.

Dog walking with a podcast playing in my earphones is one of my favourite activities. We have a river at the bottom of our back garden and paddling in it works wonders for refreshing both mind and feet! Another favourite is binge watching crime dramas, so feel free to make suggestions to me!

I began my working life as a professional musician, before turning to teaching. I spent 21 years in Senior Leadership roles in Education. Within my career I have worked with the widest possible variety of learners; ranging from young children to senior leaders to pensioners.

I love training, nurturing and developing people and am absolutely passionate about lifelong learning. I want to add value to people’s lives, whoever they may be and whatever their stage of life.

Outside work hours if I am not playing music somewhere, I am generally attempting to wear out my crazy spaniel, driving ‘Mom’s Taxi’, cooking or hiding at the gym - pretending to exercise.

Supporting personal and professional development has always been at the heart of what I do. As a facilitator and qualified coach, my focus was originally in Higher Education, where I worked with students on future proofing, mindset work and career development.

I love continuing this work at Future Talent with people further along in their careers - offering a supportive, collaborative and solution focused approach.

I live in Liverpool with my husband, two children and two mischievous cats. I am a podcast enthusiast and like to follow my curiosity down as many weird and wonderful rabbit holes as I can.

I spent my early career as a communicator in the Royal Naval Submarine Service. I worked on diesel-electric and nuclear submarines, sometimes carrying out deterrent patrols. My time in the Navy gave me various insights into leadership and teamwork, and I took what I’d learned into retail management.

I realised I loved training and coaching people, and so studied for my training qualifications whilst managing a care team for a disabled young adult. Once I’d qualified and they’d graduated, I started to deliver apprenticeships. I love exploring new leadership models, and am passionate about access to education, so I’m delighted to coach at FTL.

Hope you like dogs? I have two Welsh spaniels that love to bark... so listen out for them when we’re on a call!

Before joining Future Talent Learning, I taught Italian and Spanish. I love languages and how they provide a wonderful opportunity to know a culture better. My professional experience in the private sector saw me work as a customer account manager, often as a single point of contact for companies in Europe and the Middle East and Africa.

I have a passion for learning and enjoy being exposed to new theories that I can apply practically to support learners. As a coach, it is a pleasure to make a difference to people’s lives. I find this truly rewarding.

Free time for me means spending time with my wife and children. And if the topic of sport comes up in one of our sessions, you’ll quickly realise that football has my heart.

I started out as a graphic designer, but my passion for learning ultimately led me to 10 years in education. I have taught in London, Bangkok and Madrid, taking on various leading and mentoring responsibilities.

My experiences in education, leadership and client management give me a unique coaching insight, and I love using this to empower my learners and support them through the programme.

Who am I and what do I like to do? Well, I am British Sudanese, I speak Arabic and, if you haven’t guessed already, I love to travel. Hiking and water rafting are also high up on my activities list... despite the small fact that I’m actually a terrible swimmer.

I worked in front of house in London’s West End before moving into education. My thirst for adventure led me to move a little further - this time to Spain to teach English. I’ve been in the south of Spain for many years, and have loved total immersion in the culture and language.

I am inspired by working with enthusiastic learners who are keen to develop themselves, which naturally led me to join FTL. I combine my skills as an educationalist and coach to provide tailored support and encouragement. Being able to communicate in both English and Spanish strengthens my enjoyment of working with diverse groups around the globe.

At weekends, you’ll find me relaxing at the beach (respite is the key to good work), or reading on my roof terrace – I facilitate our learner book club so come and say hello!

I spent my early career as a civil litigation lawyer. After an epiphany, I decided to take a leap and move my career into the direction of coaching. I’ve worked in a coaching capacity with organisations such as the Government Legal Department, the Crown Prosecution Service and the Attorney General’s Office as well as many Legal 500 law firms. Before joining Future Talent, I was the Lead Coach at Virgin Active where I coached and developed senior leaders and sat within the HR function of the organisation. My specialisms include: HR, Legal and personal development.

I have a French Bulldog called Yoda who may sometimes make special guest appearances in calls if you say her name (or shout “Jedi”) loudly enough!

My first role was as a production co-ordinator for an international events organisation, where a can-do attitude and growth mindset were key. I then worked in education as a teacher, co-ordinator and support worker across businesses and secondary schools.

Having worked in four countries on two continents, and inside the public, private and voluntary sectors, I have developed a keen cultural and critical awareness, and sense of inclusivity. I have also learned to be agile and flex my communication style, attributes that I love seeing develop in my learners.

Films and music occupy much of my free time, unless I’m daydreaming about the campervan, wondering where and when I can embark on my next tour...

I started my career as a criminal defence lawyer – a baptism of fire in resilience, agility and solutions focus. While I wouldn’t take back a second, ultimately I followed my passion for new ideas, building relationships, and great communication into innovation, social change and education.

I believe in vulnerability, leading from the bench and championing one another: I love that my role allows me to live out those values.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll probably find me up a tree. (I have an olive and almond farm in Catalunya.)

Before moving into education, I worked as an employability advisor, helping clients to find sustainable careers. I enjoyed helping clients with their careers and life goals so much that I eventually decided to take the big leap into teaching, with a focus on adult education. I spent the next 10 years working for a number of colleges, helping people to develop their skills and complete the qualifications they needed to achieve their goals. As I used to manage an English and Maths department, my specialisms include communication and problem solving.

My passion for adult education remains as strong as ever, but when I get some time away from the day job, I like to go for runs along the coast and enjoy indoor bouldering
